According to Tuttomercato, Ascoli Calcio 1898 FC S.p.A. has finalized the acquisition of Samuele Damiani from Ternana. The club has confirmed that the Tuscan midfielder, born in 1998, has signed a contract that will last until June 30, 2027. Damiani, who began his career in Empoli's youth academy, has accumulated experience across various levels of Italian football, having played for teams such as Lucchese, Viterbese, Carrarese, Empoli, Palermo, Juventus Next Gen, and Ternana. He started his professional journey in Serie C with Lucchese, Viterbese, and Carrarese, even participating in playoffs with the latter two clubs. During the 2020/21 season, he returned to Empoli in Serie B before moving to Palermo, where he achieved success by winning the Serie C playoffs at the end of the 2021/22 season. His journey continued with participation in Serie C playoffs with Juventus Next Gen in the 2023/24 season and most recently with Ternana. Ascoli has expressed its enthusiasm in welcoming Samuele to the team.
