Samuel Kalu Transfer to Botev Plovdiv
Flank attacker Samuel Kalu is set to become the 17th summer signing for Botev Plovdiv, according to Sportal.bg. The former Nigerian international, who has earned 17 caps and scored two goals for his country, was last with Watford but has been without a club for over a year. Kalu's career has also included spells at Lausanne, Bordeaux, Gent, and Trencin, and he notably moved from Belgium to France in the summer of 2018 for a reported €8.5 million. This transfer comes as Botev Plovdiv seeks solutions to their on-field issues, with the club situated at the bottom of the efbet Liga.
