Samed Baždar Transfer from Real Zaragoza to St. Gallen

2h ago

Real Zaragoza recently rejected a two million euro offer from FC St. Gallen for 22-year-old Samed Baždar, as the club hoped for a better financial offer. Anel Avdić of 'Expressen' reports that the Bosnian-Herzegovinian international forward is close to joining AIK, with negotiations between the clubs having entered a final stage. The player, who has 14 caps and one goal for his country, is reportedly open to the move to the Swedish team, where a four-year contract is reportedly waiting for him. AIK had previously attempted to sign Baždar during the winter transfer window but could not reach an agreement with Real Zaragoza. The club is aiming to sell the player permanently this summer to generate funds following their relegation from the Segunda División. The Spanish club, which Baždar joined in July 2024 and where his contract runs until 2029, is reportedly seeking a minimum of €3 million, having also rejected a loan proposal from Sturm Graz that included a €1 million purchase option. His current Transfermarkt valuation is €1.50m.
