Sambou Soumano, a 25-year-old Senegalese attacker whose contract at Lorient expires this summer, is attracting interest from multiple clubs. The English team Bristol is following him, as mentioned by Africafoot, and he is also now the priority for Samsunspor. The Turkish club, which had already attempted to sign him last year, seems determined to complete his transfer during the next transfer window to strengthen their attack. Soumano joined Lorient in January 2022. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €4.00m. During the summer 2025 window, Lorient's asking price was reportedly around five million pounds (~€6m). The club rejected bids of around €6 million from both Blackburn Rovers and Swansea City. Reports from late 2025 also mentioned an offer from Qarabag FK of €2.5 million plus €500,000 in bonuses.
