Sambou Soumano, a 25-year-old Senegalese attacker, will continue his career at Reims. A free agent after his departure from FC Lorient, Soumano has signed a four-year contract with the club after successfully completing his medical examination. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €3.50m. Several other clubs, including Bristol City and Derby County, had also been linked with the forward. During the Summer 2025 transfer window, Lorient reportedly rejected bids of approximately €6 million for the player.
