A possible loan move for 17-year-old French and Senegalese striker Samba Konaté is being considered shortly before the end of the transfer window. Clubs from Germany and abroad are interested in the 1.90-meter striker. However, a decision has not yet been made. RB does not want to permanently sell its top talent. A loan could therefore be an option for all parties. It will be decided in the next few days whether Konaté will temporarily leave Leipzig. Konaté joined RB Leipzig U19 in July 2025, has a contract until 2028, and has been capped twice by the France U17 national team. His current market value, according to Transfermarkt, is €1.00m.
