Reports link QPR with Wigan Athletic's 24-year-old English goalkeeper Sam Tickle. According to a Patreon post by Alan Nixon, he could be worth as little as £1.5 million. QPR are competing for the goalkeeper amid new competition from Championship rivals Bristol City. Tickle, who made 46 appearances in League One in the 2025/26 season, has a contract with Wigan until 2028.
