According to De Telegraaf, Sam Lammers has been advised to find a new club. Twente reportedly want to sell him and replace him with PSV Eindhoven's Jesper Uneken.

Sam Lammers is expected to depart from FC Twente. The prospects for the 29-year-old Dutch striker, who joined the club in July 2024, are affected by the transfer of Wout Weghorst. Lammers still has a contract until mid-2027. According to De Telegraaf reporter Jeroen Kapteijns, a young, second striker will be brought in if FC Twente succeeds in selling Lammers for the desired amount.
