Salis Abdul Samed Transfer from Lens to Kayserispor
Ghanaian defensive midfielder Salis Abdul Samed, 25, has been attracting interest from Turkish clubs after returning from a loan at Sunderland. Kayserispor is reportedly positioning itself for a loan move and is making efforts to convince both Lens and the player. However, it is understood that Abdul Samed is prioritizing a challenge in the top 5 European leagues. Following a season at Sunderland, which was affected by a long psoas injury but ended with the joy of promotion to the Premier League, Abdul Samed returned to Lens, where he remains under contract until June 2028. Despite the interest from Turkish clubs, particularly Kayserispor and Basaksehir, Abdul Samed reportedly remains focused on pursuing opportunities within the top European leagues. Additionally, CSKA Moscow has shown interest, but due to geopolitical reasons, a move to Russia is considered not an option. His market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €5.50m.
