According to the report, the German club Wolfsburg has secured a deal with Lyon for a one-year paid loan of the right-back, which includes a mandatory purchase option valued at 6 million euros. Wolfsburg is said to have proposed a substantially higher salary for Kumbedi compared to his current earnings at Lyon, with the intention of making him a starter.
