Sassuolo has expressed interest in Saba Goglichidze and is prepared to offer him a three-year contract extending until June 2028 to outbid the competition. In addition to Sassuolo, other clubs such as Roma, Fiorentina, Parma, and Lazio have also shown interest, although none have taken definitive action so far. Goglichidze, who appeared in 36 matches this season, including 33 in Serie A, was reportedly close to joining Roma during the winter transfer window, but the transfer did not proceed as they chose Victor Nelsson from Galatasaray instead. Empoli is poised to make a full profit from this transfer, having signed Goglichidze on a free transfer in January 2024 after his contract with Torpedo Kutaisi concluded.
