Empoli FC, a Serie B club, is in discussions with Fortuna Sittard for the signing of 23-year-old Swiss and Cameroonian midfielder Ryan Fosso. Empoli FC has proposed a loan with an option to buy that would become mandatory if Empoli FC is promoted to Serie A at the end of the season. Ryan Fosso is under contract with Fortuna Sittard until June 30, 2026, and his contract includes an option for a one-year extension. His market value is estimated at 2 million euros. Fosso joined Fortuna Sittard in July 2024 and has made 17 appearances with one assist in the Eredivisie this season. The midfielder, who has three caps for the Switzerland U21 team, has also been linked with Kaiserslautern and Borussia Mönchengladbach.
