Rui Modesto, a 26-year-old Angolan midfielder, is not in Udinese's plans and it is reported that he is nearing a transfer to the MLS. The Vancouver Whitecaps have almost reached an agreement with the Italian club and are ready to finalize the deal. Modesto, who has 7 caps for Angola, joined Udinese in August 2024 and has a contract with the club until 2029. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €1.80m. Other clubs, including Raków Częstochowa and Palermo, have also been linked with him.
