It is reported that Levski Sofia is following 26-year-old Angolan winger Rui Modesto. He has returned to Udinese because Palermo did not exercise their option to buy him. Palermo is also said to be monitoring the player and considering bringing him back to Sicily. Modesto has seven caps for Angola. Last season in Serie A, he made 23 appearances and provided 2 assists for Udinese. His contract with the club runs until 2029. Reports from June 2026 indicate that negotiations between Udinese and Palermo have centered on a buyout clause of around €3 million. Palermo reportedly aims to lower this figure to closer to €2 million.
