Marca has reported that Rubén Quintanilla has been loaned to Eldense from UD Almería. The midfielder from UD Almería will play on loan at Eldense, a team in the Primera Federación, until the season concludes. This agreement was established between the two clubs and the Catalan footballer. Quintanilla, who joined Almería last season from Mallorca B, initially played for the reserve team before making his first-team debut. He participated in four LaLiga Hypermotion matches and two Copa matches. After extending his contract with Almería until 2027, he was loaned to Burgos during the winter transfer market. Although he participated in the pre-season with Almería, the club and technical staff had planned his departure from the beginning of the summer preparations. At 23 years old, Quintanilla will aim to assist Eldense in returning to Segunda while playing at the Pepico Amat stadium. His loan move is part of Almería's strategy to streamline their squad.
