Rumors have been circulating about Rubén Duarte potentially transferring to Almería, the club from his hometown. Nonetheless, Almería reportedly has no interest in Duarte at the moment, and there has been no communication with the club concerning his transfer. Duarte remains under contract with Pumas until 2027, following their acquisition of him from Alavés for 4 million euros last year. Pumas is not willing to let him go for less than that amount. Although Duarte is reportedly eager to play for Almería, the club is not considering him as a candidate unless their current left-back, Álex Centelles, leaves. Even in such a scenario, Duarte's transfer would only be contemplated if an offer acceptable to both the club and Centelles is presented, and currently, Duarte is not being considered for any potential transfer.
