Ruben Alte Transfer from Viking to Viborg
According to Norwegian TV 2, Viborg FF is nearing an agreement to sign 26-year-old Norwegian Ruben Alte on a loan deal that is expected to include a purchase option. The outlet writes that Alte will travel to Denmark on Monday to complete the transfer. TV 2 reports that the transfer is partly motivated by Viking's desire to create a squad opening for a new player. Earlier this year, Ruben Alte was loaned from Viking to Sandefjord, and Viking recalled him in July before the conclusion of the loan period.

Earlier in the transfer window, Viborg had also been interested in Hunor Németh from FC København, but the two clubs were unable to agree on the conditions for a transfer. The Danish Superliga club will now loan the 26-year-old Norwegian and will have a purchase option included in the agreement. The move will be Ruben Alte's first outside of Norway in his career. Alte's contract with Viking expires on 31/12/2029 and his current Transfermarkt market value is €800k. In the 2025/2026 Eliteserien season, he made 13 appearances, scoring one goal and providing one assist.
