Ronan Hale Transfer from Ross County to Stevenage

League One club Stevenage has reportedly expressed an interest in Ross County striker Ronan Hale, 27. Hale has asked to leave the Scottish Championship side after they rejected a potential £200,000 offer from Gillingham. The Northern Ireland international submitted a transfer request following the rejection of a third bid from the League Two club. Wigan Athletic and fourth-tier Salford City have also reportedly shown interest in the striker. It is understood that Hale is unhappy. Ross County's chairman wants to keep the player. In June, the club had insisted they were not in a position where they needed to sell, and the chairman told the Ross-Shire Journal at the time that an offer of £1 million would have to be considered. Hale joined Ross County in July 2024 and his contract runs until May 2027. In the current Scottish Championship season, he has scored one goal and made four assists in seven appearances. The forward has one cap for Northern Ireland. His current market value, according to Transfermarkt, is €400k.
