SC Paderborn is considering 27-year-old German goalkeeper Ron-Thorben Hoffmann from Eintracht Braunschweig as a potential new goalkeeper to replace Dennis Seimen, who will return to VfB Stuttgart after his loan. Sport Managing Director Sebastian Lange stated to 'kicker' that Hoffmann is a very good goalkeeper and that there are two to three candidates in the final selection for the position. It was recently reported that the Bundesliga-promoted club is interested in Hoffmann, who missed only two matches last season due to injury. A transfer fee would be required as his contract with Braunschweig is valid until 2027. Hoffmann has been capped for Germany at the U18 level. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €1.00m.
