Obolon'-Brovar is searching for a new central defender due to the departure of Vladyslav Pryimak and the probable end of their collaboration with Dmytro Semenov. The club considered loaning Shakhtar's Ukrainian defender Roman Savchenko. Savchenko is 22 years old and spent the previous season with Chornomorets. According to TaToTake, he failed to convince the 'Brewers' coaching staff because of his current physical condition, and as a result, the Kyiv club abandoned the option. Savchenko joined Shakhtar in July 2024, with a contract that runs until June 2028. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €100k.
