Roman Salenko is currently at Zorya Luhansk on loan from Dynamo Kyiv, which holds his contract. Following conversations between Dynamo Kyiv's head coach Ihor Kostyuk and Roman Salenko, it was decided that the player will stay at Zorya Luhansk until the summer. This is to ensure he gets regular playing time and because Zorya also needs him.

Roman Salenko, a midfielder and the son of former famous player Oleg Salenko, will be loaned out by Dynamo Kyiv. Last season, Salenko played two matches for Dynamo's first team and was a champion with the U-19 squad, scoring five goals in 26 matches. He plays as a central midfielder.
