According to sources from ŠPORT.sk, ŠK Slovan Bratislava will finalize and announce the arrival of Roman Čerepkai from FC Košice on Monday. FC Košice set a price of 500,000 euros for the 24-year-old Slovak striker. Negotiations have reportedly proceeded smoothly and are in the final stage. Košice coach Peter Černák told Voyo that some matters are being resolved but nothing has been finalized yet. He added that the situation will become clear in the coming days and that they must wait.

Speculation regarding Roman Čerepkai's departure from FC Košice has been present since the end of the last season. According to Terry Westley, all discussion about transfers is merely speculation without a direct offer.

Interest has been registered in 24-year-old Slovakian centre-forward Roman Čerepkai. This interest is partly due to his inclusion in the national team, for which he has one cap. Čerepkai plays for FC Kosice, where he scored 10 goals and provided 7 assists in 30 domestic league appearances during the 2025/2026 season. His contract with the club runs until June 2027, and his current market value is €500k, according to Transfermarkt.
