Romaine Mundle Transfer from Sunderland to Feyenoord
Feyenoord wanted to sign Romaine Mundle. Sunderland has decided to keep Romaine Mundle, according to Sky Sports.
Feyenoord and Rangers have both shown interest in Sunderland's 22-year-old English attacker, Romaine Mundle, and the two clubs are considering making an official approach. It is said that Sunderland is reluctant to let the winger leave. Mundle, who joined Sunderland at the start of 2024 from Standard Liege for a reported fee of €1.8 million, is reportedly open to a move in search of more playing time, having been limited to eight substitute appearances and one assist in the Premier League this season. His manager, Regis Le Bris, previously indicated that a player who does not get much playing time in the second half of the season might find another club. Mundle has drawn interest from the Netherlands before, as he was linked to PSV last summer. His contract with Sunderland runs until June 2028, and his current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €6.00m.
