Transfer journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Ajax and Genoa are interested in Fiorentina's Rolando Mandragora. Ajax reportedly considers the 29-year-old defensive midfielder, who has been capped once by Italy, to be an experienced option. Mandragora joined Fiorentina from Juventus in mid-2022 for a fee of €8.2 million. His contract has two years remaining, and the club has an option for an extension. Transfermarkt estimates Mandragora's value at approximately nine million euros. The level of Ajax's interest is not currently known, and it is not yet clear if the club will make a formal approach before the Dutch transfer window closes on September 2. Recent reports from mid-2026 indicate that an offer exceeding €10 million would be necessary for a transfer. In the summer of 2025, Fiorentina's asking price was reportedly between €8 million and €12 million, and the club also reportedly rejected a €4 million offer from Real Betis in July 2025.
