He is a 6ft 4 Switzerland Under-21 international of Swiss and Togolese nationality with 8 caps for the U21 side. The Hammers face competition from Southampton and Portsmouth, who are also interested in signing him. Portsmouth reportedly had a £1.5 million bid rejected by the Belgian side in the summer, while Southampton have registered an interest this winter.
