Liverpool have identified 22-year-old OH Leuven defender Roggerio Nyakossi, who holds both Swiss and Togolese nationality, as a summer target to strengthen their defence, partly because Ibrahima Konate is expected to leave when his contract expires at the end of the season. The Swiss player is also a target for Marseille. Nyakossi has a strong interest in a move to Liverpool, though it is not yet known if the club will make an official offer. Having joined OH Leuven in January 2025, Nyakossi is under contract until June 2027. He has been capped 8 times for the Switzerland U21 team and has scored 3 goals in 18 Jupiler Pro League appearances this season. His current Transfermarkt valuation is €2.50m.
