Nyíregyháza has signed 21-year-old Croatian youth international Rocco Zikovic from FC Liefering. The central defender has already joined his new teammates at their training camp. Nyíregyháza's sporting director, Fekete Dávid, confirmed that Zikovic has signed a two-year contract, adding that the club wanted to recruit another player for his position to increase competition. The sporting director also noted that the physically strong player was developed at the Red Bull Salzburg academy. Zikovic has been capped four times for Croatia's U19 team and, according to Transfermarkt, has a current market value of €250k.
