A report by Leggo indicates that Roma and Fiorentina are exploring a potential loan swap involving their strikers during the next transfer window. This deal would see 25-year-old Italian centre-forward Roberto Piccoli move to the capital, while Artem Dovbyk would be transferred to Florence. The same publication notes that Piccoli could serve as an alternative for Gian Piero Gasperini's attack after a disappointing season. It is reported that Fiorentina is seeking a new attacker because of the possible departure of Moise Kean. Sporting director Paratici is considering Dovbyk. Piccoli, who joined Fiorentina in August 2025, has a contract with the club until 2030. He has one cap for Italy, and his current market value on Transfermarkt is €16.00m.
