Chelsea have monitored Roberto Fernandez this year, with his performances in LaLiga attracting attention from clubs seeking a young, developing No.9. Brighton have also monitored the 24-year-old Spanish striker, while Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly increased their efforts to sign him. Fernandez's recent form, which includes six goals in his opening seven games this season and led to his first senior cap for Spain, has increased interest from potential Premier League suitors. According to Premier League scouting sources, Fernandez is seen as a striker well-suited for English football because of his physical attributes and his ability to serve as a focal point. He joined Espanyol in July 2025, and his contract is valid until 2031. His current market value is €20.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
