According to Sportske Novosti, intensive discussions are taking place for Robert Murić, a former player of Dinamo, Ajax, Rijeka, and Mura, to transfer to Opatija.

According to Novi list, Opatija has sent an offer to Robert Murić and is now waiting for his response. Murić recently mutually terminated his contract with Mura and currently does not have a club.

Slovenian first league team Mura officially announced they will not be extending their cooperation with Croatian winger Robert Murić, as the club chose not to activate an option that would have kept him for at least another year. This decision follows the 29-year-old making 16 appearances and registering one assist in the first part of the season. Opatija, the last-placed team in the Prva NL, is interested in his services, but the player has not yet responded. Murić, who has been capped five times for Croatia's U21 team, scoring one goal, joined Mura in February 2025, and his contract is set to expire on January 14, 2026. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €300k.
