Vitória has made an inquiry to São Paulo regarding the situation of Robert Arboleda, a 34-year-old defender from Ecuador. Vitória is interested in a loan deal for the player that would last until the end of the year. It has been reported that there is currently no agreement with São Paulo or with the player. Arboleda is training separately from the main squad because he was absent without authorization for approximately one month in his home country of Ecuador. Arboleda joined São Paulo in July 2017 and has a contract that runs until December 2027. He has 39 caps for his country. According to Transfermarkt, his market value is estimated to be €600k. Vasco da Gama and Internacional have also been linked with Arboleda.
