Rijk Janse Transfer from NEC to FC Groningen
According to RTV Noord, FC Groningen will sign goalkeeper Rijk Janse this week from NEC, where he was the third-choice keeper last season. The 24-year-old, who made his Eredivisie debut in March when he replaced an injured Jasper Cillessen, is reportedly being brought in to organize the goalkeeping department. At his new club, Janse is expected to compete with Lovro Štubljar for the second-choice goalkeeper position. RTV Noord also states that the completion of the move for Janse, along with midfielder Pelle Clement from Sparta Rotterdam, only depends on the finalization of formalities. Janse, a Dutch national, joined NEC in July 2023 and his contract there expires on June 30, 2026. His current market value is €50k, according to Transfermarkt.
