Joinville has announced the signing of 27-year-old Brazilian midfielder Rickson as a reinforcement for the 2026 season. The player, who was developed at Botafogo's academy, arrives from Tombense, where he made 17 appearances in the Série C and Campeonato Mineiro in 2025. His career has also included periods at clubs including América-MG, Atlético-GO, and Guarani. Rickson joins Joinville with the expectation of competing for a starting spot in the Catarinense, Copa do Brasil, and Série D. The midfielder stated that his initial contact with the club was very positive, and he felt hopeful about the project and highly motivated to achieve significant things in the State Championship. He has already reported to the club and is training with the squad.
