Ricardo Pepi, a 23-year-old United States centre-forward from PSV Eindhoven who was born in 2003, is a main target for Napoli as the club plans to change its attack. An offer of approximately 30 million euros may be necessary to secure an agreement with the Dutch club, following a season where Pepi scored 19 goals between the Eredivisie and Champions League. However, the club, under sporting director Giovanni Manna, intends to focus on player sales before moving to acquire a new striker. Napoli will first need to finalize the departures of Romelu Lukaku and Lorenzo Lucca before investing in a new number nine. Pepi joined PSV in July 2023 and his contract runs until 2030.
