Manchester United are in talks with Fleetwood Town for 22-year-old English defender Rhys Bennett to rejoin the League Two club before the winter window closes on 2 February. Bennett had a successful loan spell with Fleetwood last season, making 38 appearances, but has only featured three times for Manchester United's U21 side this term since failing to secure a move last summer. A report from the Manchester Evening News claims the move could be a loan with an option to buy or a permanent transfer, and that Manchester United is expected to add a sell-on clause if the deal is permanent.
