East Kilbride have signed Rhys Armstrong, a 24-year-old midfielder from Scotland who previously played for Airdrie and Spartans. Kennedy stated that he has known the player since Armstrong's time at Caledonian Braves and Spartans and noted his successful period at Airdrie. Kennedy also believes that Airdrie's relegation, combined with a managerial change during the season, probably helped East Kilbride sign the player, whom he considers a very good signing.
