Young Boys announced in a media release that Rhordi Smith is departing. The left-back is leaving Young Boys on loan to join Banik Ostrava, a Czech top-flight club. The Czech club has also secured a purchase option for the 19-year-old.

Discussions are in progress concerning another loan for Rhodri Smith. Spycher emphasized that Rhodri Smith will not be sold.

Rodri Smith is described as a logical candidate to leave BSC Young Boys, as he is one of the players expected to depart under the club's plans to reduce its squad.

Rhodry Smith, who made 13 appearances, has officially left FC Winterthur and will return to YB.
