Alverca announced that they have signed 27-year-old defensive midfielder Rhaldney on loan from the Turkish club Goztepe. This transfer was made in preparation for the potential departure of Sabit Abdulai to China. Rhaldney's time in Turkey was his first season in Europe, and prior to that, he had played for Náutico and Atlético Goianense in Brazil.
