Rey Manaj, a 28-year-old Albanian striker, has resolved his contract with Sharjah, ending his six-month period in the United Arab Emirates league. During his time with the club, the former Inter and Barcelona player made 21 appearances and scored 6 goals but did not find the consistency he had previously experienced in Europe. A return to Turkey is now anticipated, where Sivasspor is prepared to welcome him again. Manaj, who has 44 caps and 10 goals for Albania, previously had a successful period with the Turkish club, scoring 34 goals and providing 8 assists in 63 official appearances, a performance which had attracted interest from various other clubs.
