Rene Renner, a 32-year-old Austrian Left-Back, was suspended with immediate effect and has to leave the club. The suspension was due to an incident in the dressing room, which was a disciplinary issue following the 0-3 defeat in Altach. Silberberger explained that a line was crossed and that they had no choice but to suspend him. Renner's contract was due to run until summer 2027. The defender joined Wolfsberger AC on July 1, 2025, and his current market value is €200k, according to Transfermarkt.
