On Wednesday, Coritiba officially announced the signing of the 22-year-old Brazilian attacker, who joins from Mirassol on a one-year loan. The agreement includes an option for a permanent purchase at the end of the initial term. The club can exercise this option if he meets expectations in the Copa do Brasil and Série A. Coritiba had been looking for a 'number 9' before the extra transfer window closes, and Marques is their 17th signing of the year. It is expected that his name will be published in the CBF's BID within the week, which would make him available for the upcoming match against Vasco. His contract with Mirassol is set to expire on 31/12/2027 and his Transfermarkt market value is €1.00m. In the 2025/2026 season, he has scored one goal in seven domestic league appearances for Mirassol.
