Royal Antwerp FC have signed Rein Van Helden. Joseph Oosting stated that the player was already known to the technical staff and that his qualities as a young Belgian and his willingness to play for the club were important factors in the signing. Oosting also told Gazet van Antwerpen that Van Helden wanted to play for their club.

According to Voetbalnieuws.be, Rein Van Helden is joining Royal Antwerp FC. The Belgian youth international had a limited buyout clause and will be working at the Bosuil.

Royal Antwerp FC is nearing an agreement to sign 23-year-old Belgian defender Rein Van Helden from Sint-Truiden VV. Van Helden has previously been linked with KRC Genk. His contract with Sint-Truiden runs until June 30, 2027. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €2.50m. The Belgium U21 international has made 21 appearances and scored one goal in the Jupiler Pro League this season.
