Talks for a new long-term deal with Regan Slater, an English central midfielder, are nearly complete. The deals for both Coyle and the 26-year-old Slater expire this summer, and although the Tigers have 12-month options, they are close to agreeing new long-term deals to extend their time at the MKM Stadium. Slater, who joined Hull City in January 2022, has made 23 appearances in the Championship this season, with one goal and one assist. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt at €3.50m.
