Regan Clayton, who is West Ham's 21-year-old English left-back and Under-21s captain, is set to join National League club Scunthorpe United on a short-term, one-month loan. A report from ExWHUEmployee states that the youth cup-winning defender will join Andy Butler's team. It is understood that Scunthorpe will be covering his wages for the duration of the deal. Clayton has previous experience in men's football from loan spells at Dagenham & Redbridge and Braintree Town. His contract with West Ham is valid until June 2027.
