Redouane Halhal, a 23-year-old central defender for KV Mechelen who played in the JPL, is attracting interest from Serie A, where both Hellas Verona and Sassuolo have been following the Moroccan and French player since last winter. The defender joined the club in August 2024 and has made 24 appearances, scoring one goal and providing two assists in the league this season. His contract with the Belgian club is valid until June 2026. It was reported that Hellas Verona made an offer of approximately €3.5 million for Halhal in January 2026. His market value is currently estimated by Transfermarkt at €3.0 million.
