Trabzonspor is reportedly planning to part ways with Rayyan Baniya during the summer transfer window. Baniya, who spent the previous season on loan at Palermo, returned to Trabzonspor after the Italian club decided not to exercise their purchase option. It has been reported that Fatih Karagümrük, his former club, has shown interest in acquiring Baniya on a loan deal. Trabzonspor is said to be interested in selling Baniya to generate revenue, although no offers have been made yet. Sources suggest that the 26-year-old Turkish-Italian defender has a high likelihood of leaving the team by September, as Trabzonspor aims to finalize his transfer within the summer window. Despite being eligible to play as a local player, no concrete offers have been received, and Fatih Karagümrük appears keen on securing him on a loan deal. Baniya's contract with Trabzonspor is reported to expire in June 2027, and his market value is currently estimated by Transfermarkt to be €1.80m.
