Leicester City have identified Valencia's 19-year-old Spanish goalkeeper Raúl Jiménez as a target, and the player is currently in the final year of his contract. Serie B side Modena have also shown interest in the Spain U20 international, for whom he has one cap. Both Leicester and Modena have made offers to the player that were described as attractive. Jiménez will not consider these proposals because his desire is to continue with Valencia. The Spanish club wants to renew his contract until 2028 and include a €60m release clause. Jiménez will sign an extension soon, which will prevent him from leaving on a free transfer in the summer.
