Rasmus Lauritsen is travelling to Greece on Wednesday for a medical examination before a move to Iraklis. The 30-year-old Danish centre-back is set to join the top-tier Greek club on a loan deal which includes a purchase option. This transfer follows a period where Lauritsen has not been part of head coach Thomas Nørgaard's squad at Brøndby this season and has been out of the team for almost all of 2026. Brøndby has repeatedly stated their desire to reduce their squad size in the last days of the transfer window, and Lauritsen was a player they wanted to transfer. Since arriving at Brøndby in the spring of 2023, the defender played a total of 66 matches. His contract with the club is set to expire in June 2027, and his current Transfermarkt market value is €1.00m.
