AC Milan is considering signing a free agent in response to the long-term injuries of Alexis Saelemaekers and Pervis Estupiñán. Portuguese Left-Back Raphaël Guerreiro, aged 32, and Dani Carvajal, aged 34, are reported to be prominent candidates. Guerreiro was offered to Milan in the summer, but the Italians declined the proposal due to his high salary demands and concerns about his fitness. Guerreiro is now being considered as an option again, while Fodé Ballo-Touré, Pol Lirola, and Ricardo Pereira are also among the players being evaluated for the position. The defender has 65 caps and 4 goals for Portugal, and his current market value is €5.00m, according to Transfermarkt. Olympiakos Piraeus and Roma have also been linked with a move for the free agent.
