Ramiz Zerrouki Transfer from Feyenoord to FC Twente

Ramiz Zerrouki returns to FC Twente on a loan deal without a purchase option from Feyenoord during this summer transfer window. He is seeking more playing time ahead of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. Zerrouki previously played for FC Twente from 2019 to 2023, where he made a name for himself.

Algerian international Ramiz Zerrouki, aged 27, is on the verge of returning to FC Twente. Zerrouki had moved from FC Twente to Feyenoord for a transfer fee exceeding 7 million euros two years prior. During his tenure at Feyenoord, he participated in 65 matches but did not manage to establish himself as the pivotal player that had been anticipated. Given the limited prospects for playing time at Feyenoord, a return to FC Twente appears to be a favorable option for him. Despite his contract with Feyenoord extending until mid-2027, it is anticipated that Feyenoord will be willing to part ways with Zerrouki following the upcoming season. Zerrouki's potential move back to FC Twente is driven by the club's urgent need to bolster its midfield after Michal Sadilek's departure. Transfermarkt reports that his current market value is €5 million. Recently, Zerrouki has also been associated with potential transfers to clubs in Spain and France, including Villarreal, Sevilla, Lens, and Olympique Lyonnais.
